My colleagues and I are trying to re-popularise 'Blackguard' as a term of abuse.
Huzza!!

I do use the word 'Thrice' but usually as part of,'Nay, nay and thrice nay!'
'Two times' is the sort of talk up with which I am disinclined to put.

Please... Thank you ..
"Please" and "thank you" are in my opinion overused in the English language to the point that they have lost their meaning. You can't say "yes" without following up with a "please" or "no" without following up with a "thank you". You don't realise just how insincere their use is in the English language are until you become fluent in a foreign language.

Ground has given way to floor. I always thought floors where indoor structures, ground was the outer skin of the planet or tarmac. Apparently now, floor is everywhere, I suspect it came from football pundits.

It seems to be the hardest word.

A sad, sad situation.
