When cycling to work I always iron my shirt and trousers and then neatly fold them in my backpack by the time I get to work they are creased.

I was wondering does the same happen to you?

Any tips on keeping them smooth?

And what types of shirts or martial you use so there is less creases?

Try rolling, rather than folding.

I commute 11 miles to work (and 11 back) and I could get away with a polo shirt and smart jeans to be honest.

I use to stuff them in a plastic bag. (Tesco) but I remember I forgot to put in the plastic bag it rained heavy on the way to work. Got to work on time, went to change to my horror my work clothes were soaked. I spent the next hour under a hand dryer.

Health and Safety so they won't allow ironing at work. It no big deal to be honest. I was thinking if anyone encountered the same problem.

@smokeysmoo is right, hang your clothes over a boiling kettle and hey presto, all the creases come out!
There is that, however my post was aimed more at the hypocrisy of not allowing a hot iron versus allowing anyone and everyone to boil water to 100 degrees c and then free pour it into their vessel of choice ;)

We don't have kettles. We have like a hot water tank at the kitchen you up the leaver down and hot water comes out.
Hope you've all been inducted and properly trained in it's use. If they won't allow you to use an iron how do they allow the use of a boiling water tank?

It's common sense but believe me when I say there are people who lack that.
