As long as I breathe, I attack.
If the potential employer handling of drugs tests is anything to go by, the OP may be better off not working there anyway.

I know of worse, the agency workers in one area of the place i work will get a mandatory dug test if they make an error that results in scrap part and one guy i remember told them he was on co codamol for knee pain as he had not long had surgery and they sacked him on the spot even though they knew when they hired him.
For me i would be suspended for 3 days on full pay if a drugs test was deemed necessary although it would have to be a mojor repeated feck up or behaviour as i know of of only 1 guy in over 20 years got paid off because of alcoholism.

@Ripple that workspace sounds similar to mine , im lucky in a way being in logistics i can usually take a detour to the nearest toilet if needed as long as i deliver all the parts i need to within a certain time period as most of our jobs have very long cycle times to complete a series of tasks that have been timed to deliver a certain number of parts within that time so if you are experienced you can make a little wiggle room to do it .Production members who have to actually build the parts have around 120 seconds per cycle to perform a set number of tasks and steps so if they need to go they need to get a team leader to cover although it is encouraged to go at break times. These break times are normally 2x 10 min breaks where your supposed to get to and from your process , have a drink , go toilet etc and get back before then line starts plus a 30 min unpaid dinner break.Again compulsory overtime based on projected build figures and any catchback from breakdowns etc which can be an extra 2 hours and your not told till last break , they can even call production for a saturday if they are really far behind any time up till thursday and its classed as a standard work day so you have to turn up .
I even do extra for more cash , eg early shift i need to be there for 5.45 am 15 mins unpaid for start of shift bried before lines start at 6 am but im clocking on at just after 5 am to get an extra half an hour pre shift paid in then end of shift i usually do and extra 15- 30 mins on top for end of shift standard and scrap disposal etc .Normal day would be clock on 4.55 am and clock out 2. 50 pm
