You'd be better off getting some gro-bags in there and having a nice crop of tomatoes, chillies and strawberries out of it.

We have loads of people cycling, and not enough racks- 2 or 3 bikes tied to every lampost within 100m on the busiest days!
Thankfully, it has been noticed and the bike racks are being replaced with two tier racks, roughly doubling the capacity ^_^
However for the two days that the work goes on, where the heck are people going to put their bikes? We have been told that they're going to put some temporary racks but how the heck does one get 60+ bikes into 4 car parking spaces? I think I might have to take the bus those days

Panniers off and back it in ? Should have had Sheffield stands in it really. We've got equally silly stands. To lock the bikes we have to put them in front wheel down rather than the rear down. It's ok for those of us with a light bike(or indeed blokes) but the ladies struggle to get them in even rear wheel down (vertical stands).

My biggest concern would be ensuring the door is locked or indeed shut. That's out biggest problem. Even with self closers one of the doors doesn't always shut. As a result of a number of thefts, the users of the bike parking has fallen by 50%. Quite a few lock up outside on Sheffield stands or sneak the bikes in the building.

I don't think they will put locks on the gates but stupidly they could have put electronic access control on if they had thought about it a bit more. Every person on site has an electronic swipe card that is configurable to allow entry only to the areas required. I think I might try it out for size tomorrow, I can be the guinea pig :okay:

This is what we had put on when our new facility was installed. I guess lucky for us the guy leading the installation got us cyclists involved from the word go.
