I'm no Raleigh expert, but I think there's more to that than meets the eye. If it's what I think it is, it will be worth a lot more than £100 renovated. Certainly needs a few new parts, some rechroming, perhaps even a new tube or two but as long as the frame or part of it with the number remains it would certainly be attractive to the right collector.

So, tell us - what do you 'think it is'? I think it's a pile of crap, barely held together by rust, covered in mud. What are the tell-tale signs of something worth north of a ton?
