Worst Film Remake

What are the worst/most pointless film remakes?
The Wicker Man (2006) and Psycho (1998) were at the top of my list until the US remake of Oldboy (2013) by Spike Lee was made

Any Hollywood remake of a non-USA film is pretty pointless, and just shows how Hollywood literally "lost the plot" a long time ago.

The original Japanese film is a delight. The Richard Gere/Jennifer Lopez remake is worse than dreadful.
