Worst TV series ever?

worst TV show ever... all the best contenders can be found at almost any time on most channels these days.

Television was way better when we had a 3 or 4 channels to choose from and something like Triangle would be considered well written and well acted in comparison to what Corrie and Emmerdale have become.

"Was it really as bad as it's made out to be" is the reason I downloaded it.

My most loathed programme as a child was Heidi, although I never watched it. I just switched the telly over when I heard the first few bars.

My least favourite programme as an adult. Difficult to say, there are soooo, sooo many. I used to find 2.4 Children particularly unfunny. Triangle didn't seem any worse than all the other soaps. I actively disliked Skins when I watched an episode to see what the fuss was about.

Yes, Mind Your Language. True, it did trade in national stereotypes. The French woman was outrageously sexy. She used to appear in Celebrity Squares in the same persona. The Sikh gentleman shook his head while clasping his hands together pointing upwards a lot. The Chinese woman was always quoting Chairman Mao, IIRC. I still found it amusing when I was young.

Oh yes, I seem to remember the Chinese and the Japanese didn't get on.

Just so you know, the two worst shows in terms of money/viewers were for the BBC 'El Dorado' and for ITV it was 'Survivor'

Any show that got as far as a second series can not have been all bad. Shows such as Spooks, Corrie, Big Brother etc had very good first series.
It's just they did not stop on a high point, as once you end up with "Eurofactor Millionaire Celebrity Chief Big Brother House Makover Show" you know that you are dredging the bottom

CSI Miami. Why do they need to use a torch all the time? Whats with the lead characters need for sunglasses? How many computers can you really fit into the back of a Hummer?

Mustn't forget Murder She Wrote. Why wasn't the old woman arrested? Surely its more than a coincidence that where ever she goes someone gets murdered and she interferes.... Death row is the only place she should be.

Arghhh! Makes me glad I don't have a TV!

As a kid I couldn't abide, 'Little house on the prarie' or Adventures of Huckleberry Fin'.

But I agree with FM, 'Tomorrow People' was ace

I agee - it was a great programme.

It seemed very clever to me at the time as a child - I was it's exact target audience age-wise and I loved it
