If I was going to spend £2k on a bike, I would want it to look at least halfway decent. That is a pretty ugly bike to my eyes.
I will have one as well, as long as it is an extra birthday present! I am pretty sure it would fetch £750 on eBay.Its nice but not my thing , of course if anyone is offering to buy one for my birthday ..........
Some more info here on the new range, http://www.mekkbicycles.com/
As for paying out £2000 for a bike,...... my car is not even worth that lol
I literally just checked on Wiggle too, after reading the £500 overpriced comment! Its worth noting that the wheelset retails for a shade over £700 on Wiggle....so that is clearly where the extra dollar is going.
Agreed. But I guess they would serve a purpose to someone looking to shed weight. Personally, at 100kgs, there are far cheaper ways for someone like me to shed weight on the bike lolWaste of £700
Getting your priorities right is important. I have a £400 car and now have a £2000 bike.
And that'where it should ... rather £700 wheels and 105 groupset than Dura Ace and Aksiums as seems to be the case these days, expensive gruppo and lowly wheels. Well here's the deal, a more expensive groupset wont make you any faster, but good wheels will. Good on Mekk for realising this at last ....Its worth noting that the wheelset retails for a shade over £700 on Wiggle....so that is clearly where the extra dollar is going.
