Carbon fibre planet-x - bout 1400 with some accesories
Planet-x pro carbon track bike - about 1300
Ribble winter bike 105 group - 700
the other 1000 would be on some assos clothing and quality bike tools.

even if I had four grand to give you, there is no way that I'd give it to you to spend on tat. Start drooling over fancier websites while you're still able to dream teenage dreams. And think on this. If you want a Ribble when you're fifteen, what on earth will you settle for when you're fifty?

The ribble would be my winter bike - I don't want a fancy colnago or something because I would be too scared to ride it.

aim for ONE bike, for under a grand, and nag and myther your parents all day every day till they buy you it. promise things, wash their car, pay it back out of paper round, anything, till you get it. then when you do, and they see that you ride it all the time, then start the whole process again

Just make one yourself, then when you have an accident, blame your parents because they didnt buy you the proper one;)
