Just done a quick tally(bored at work!) and I've got it coming at 1,290 for parts only;that's with Campy Veloce* groupset,Planet X stems and bars etc and some nice hand-built wheels** with Clement Strada tan wall tyres.

Probably factor in about £85 minimum for an LBS build(poss more?).

*Another £85 for Athena although it would really look nice with Record on it.Actually some older Record would look good dunno what ut goes for second-hand?

For(a fair bit) more you could get them with Record hubs.

To buy this frame, http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FRHOCO/holdsworth-competition-frameset a decent Campagnolo groupset some decent wheels and other stuff and make up my own bike? Well when i say make up my own bike i mean pay someone to put it all together.

Why not try and build it yourself (even if you don't have the experience) save some money and learn more about bike maintenance?

Im sure there are videos, forum members, articles on the web that would assist with bits that your stuck on.
