I have the Zonda's and had them running 10 speed on Defy, with spacer as stated above, and 11 speed on my Bianchi. No issues at all.

I have a pair of Zondas myself with 11sp Ultegra I think you will find like I said before If you remove the spacer it will take the 11.....

Which means they have an 11 speed hub as i said.....the old zondas had 8/9/10

The new zondas have 9/10/11

I don't see the point in having two bikes that are virtually identical apart from groupset. I would personally try something different if you feel that you must get an N+1.

Agree with this, slightly smoother gear changes and a small amount of weight saving is all it will achieve.
If this is what you want then go for it.

I agree too, there's a lot of nice bikes out there with good groupsets on have a look at this for instance............
