Would metal tyre leavers brake my rims?

My bicycle repair kit comes from the dark ages and the tyre levers are metal. This used to be fine on my old bike where the wheel rims were metal too.

Just wondering if I should buy some plastic ones for my new bike where the rim is plastic? Don't want to break them.

I think they're plastic. They're certainty not carbon.

The wheels have disk brakes and the rim bit says "this is not a braking surface" on it.

Ritchey Pro Disk wheels if that helps?

I highly doubt the rims are plastic.

Your rims will NOT be plastic. They may have a coating of plasticesc paint but they ar almost certainly alloy or aluminium.
