I've just been looking at Estes stuff on Amazon, but I'm not buying any...................... No I'm not........ definitely not...... never...... no...............Check Estes on the internet.
There are limitations on where you can fly them, but nothing to stop you doing it on your own.

Go for the astrocam or eggshot.

It certainly was good fun to watch they let the 2 young-uns press the launch button......and the mid size (about 2 foot) thing was fab so the big one pictured would have been incredible........I've been looking at Estes site, prices starting at just under $10, this could get messy.
One of the rockets had a small L.C.D altimeter fitted that charged by usb...... but he had forgot to charge it so didn't use it todayI can envisage attaching a Garmin Edge (to record the flight profile) and a GoPro. The video would definitely be worth watching!
