Malfunctions? Driver education? Idiots interpreting it as a signal to blat past? Cyclists thinking that it makes them invulnerable?

A technological "solution" to a management problem, unfortunately.

Now I would like to see a steering-wheel mounted device that delivers an electric shock to the driver's genitals every time they pass too close to a cyclist. THAT should win an award.
