After returning to riding a few weeks ago, after a broken collar bone, I've gradually been upping the distance. At first my shoulder was a bit sore so I had to cut a couple of rides short.
Went out today on one of those "lets just see how far we get" rides and managed a metric ton (100 Km). The time was a bit slower than I'd have liked (3 Hr 37 Min) but all things considered I'm not too disappointed, I've just got rusty .
It's amazing how a bit of time (3 months in my case) takes the edge off but the shoulder is feeling fine after the ride so it's time to try to regain a bit of oomph!
