Wtd: shimano deore lx 3x7 speed front sti

Hi All,
I picked up a 91/92 ish Scott boulder MTB as an about town shopper. Everything is working well except the front sti. Has anyone got a spare Shimano deore LX 3 speed sti knocking around? I'm not particularly knowledgeable about these things so anything else that would work would be great too, I'm not fussy Ta!

Keep looking, especially if you want a match. You could go for two new 7 speed shifters.

Will do. There's a pair on eBay that are pretty cheap atm, let's hope they stay that way

STI working again! A bit of WD40 did wonders. It didn't seem to have any effect when I first tried so I took it apart, gave it another spray and hey presto!

They are pretty robust. I bought mine 30 years ago.

Yup shouldn't have doubted it. I got 20 quid off the bike as well 😄
