Would make a great discussion piece for a lounge but I would never consider actually riding it. I wonder if Sir Clive made an off-road version

Would you ride it in heavy traffic? Or light traffic? Or any traffic or no traffic at all?

I have actually ridden one of these.
They're unmitigated, utter $h!t3.
I'd rather saw my own feet off and go for a walk.

Looks like a classic "solution looking for a problem" piece of design. Why you'd even bother going beyond the drawing board stage with a thing like that when the bicycle as it exists is pretty much unimprovable, I don't know.

Perhaps I could buy it and take it on the VCC ride for small wheelers in July. I wonder how long it would take to cover the 18 miles?

I've been trying to think of things to do at the school summer fair to raise money for the school funds, that might be a goer.
Actually now i think about it, maybe not.

I did once see a bike at a school fair that steered the opposite way to the way you pushed the bars, probably safer than that thing.

The main thing about an A-Bike is that it folds up incredibly small, and is stupidly light. Seriously, it's well under half the weight of my Brommie, and folds up even smaller. As a folder, it's fantastic. As a bike to carry, it's brilliant.
It's only as a bike it's utter crap.

Those are impossible to ride for most people. Someone brought one along to one of the 2CV camps I used to go on, years ago (coincidentally, at the same meeting we also had a car with backwards steering). I couldn't ride it at all ... if you think about it, even riding in a straight line you're constantly making imperceptible movements of the bars just to keep your balance. With reverse steering this is just not possible for most people. Although there was one chap who could ride it with no problem at all. Must be just the way some people's minds work, I suppose.
