I’ve started following Dave7. Don’t follow anyone currently, so thought I’d give it a go, see what I’m missing. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Afaik, you get an alert when someone starts to follow you, but I can't see an actual list.
Interesting question!

I've found it!

Click on your user name at the top, a little popup appears. Click on your user name again inside that popup and it takes you to a profile page with your avatar and underneath some tabs called "Profile Posts" "Latest Activity" and so on. Click on the one marked "About". Your list of followers is in there.

Sorry, the quotes are upside down, but there's your answer.
Actually, if you follow someone, you will also see in your news feed what posts they liked, or any other interactions on the forum.
@Dave7 are you still uncomfortable being followed on CC?
Have you told the follower?

The jury is still out on that.
I don't like it but will see what happens.
Thanks

Oh my, I didn't realize I had about 40 followers!
Sadly, most of them haven't logged in for years

You can go into your privacy settings and do the following:
Set whatever "Allow users to........" as you like "Nobody".
It won't actually stop them following you but it will make it quite pointless! (Especially the news feed one - I think that stops them being informed of your new posts, @Pat "5mph" ?).

That said, for some reason, I cannot see who is following me!

No nothing for me

apparently I am following one person but nothing else

I presume that means no one likes me no one is following me

not sure I see the point anyway - I read thread and not people normally
more useful in "The Other Place" where I can see me ignoring some people - and following some might be worth it so I can ignore some of the "more direct conversations"

or I might just ignore the whole place
