That whooshing noise is the point going over your head. Curiosity demands to know whether the fractured skull was inflicted regardless of helmet.

The point is that there's a specific place for helmet debates and since Binky is determined to turn this thread into a helmet discussion, I'm merely suggesting they start that debate where it belongs.

Indeed although by looks of it I'd say he wasn't wearing a helmet. Hence me asking the question which some seem to object to or think is irrelevant for some reason.

I therefore conclude you think everyone should consider wearing helmets (while out and about) in case some lunatic decides to assault them.
Have I tied together the relevance correctly?

Lol.
Not sure if you are purposely missing the point but no I'm not. I literally asked was the cyclist wearing a helmet. That's it.

Ah you missed this then :

Obviously wearing of a cycle helmet isn't normally done in case of a nutter throwing you to the ground but I'm curious to know if he had one on.

No cycle helmet I've encountered promises any protection in the event of an assault. Indeed, as I've aforementioned, they are a liability in a tactical scenario.

Is suggest he probably not wearing one from the footage, but it's irrelevant either eay

From the video which is blurred out but it's still possible to see point of impact of head on road then if he had been wearing one I'd say a good chance his injuries would have been significantly less. If you take out the assault bit and just look at it as a skull hitting the road with force, that is imagine the cyclist had fallen at speed from his bike and landed exactly the same way then wearing a helmet would have made a difference. I find it hard to agree it would be irrelevant.

Break someone’s skull and drive away, released.
Put al ill considered post on the unsociable media, 3&1/2 years.
Your justice system working for you.

A bit of a false choice really.
In any case those imprisoned for social media posts have tended to be inciting arson and murder, which is pretty serious

So it's pretty clear that you've "asked the question" so that you can make a point about some different, hypothetical scenario.

Am I right? And do you ask these questions about all head injuries?

What different scenario?
I was answering the Reacher wannabe as he is going on about some tactical situation or something.

You obviously think a head hitting the road is different if pushed by someone as opposed to falling off a bike.
Whereas the impact will be the same.

Anyway, you are desperate to try and be awkward etc so I'm not sure what your point is.
