Prompted by an item in the Funny Old World column in the latest Private Eye I had to Google the Lake Oswego News Police Blotter - a police log of incidents in a small town in Oregon, a place where the concept of 'wasting police time' doesn't seem to exist and where a dead squirrel on the road is worthy of mention. It just had to be shared:
