I only recently joined this forum as the one I’ve been following gets …… absurdly nasty. It’s only been a short time to conclude you folks are so much more enjoyable to engage with. It’s just like talking with adults 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Indeed, some very knowledgeable folk. If you want to know about sartorial elegance, gardening, fake Rolex watches, Volvos, home improvements etc then you're in the right place.

Not so good if you have a cycling question that needs answering, mind.

Many years ago I joined Mensa but I cancelled my membership quickly because the first newsletter showed me their members were, at the time, very closed minded and intolerant of other people's opinions. I don't consider this to be a sign of intelligence. This forum, to a large extent, is just the opposite. If I think Bike A is great and someone else thinks Bike B is better, we have an adult discussion of why we feel the way we do instead of just slagging each other off. That's way it should be.
