When I rode bike as a teenager we ripped off mudguard and particularly chain guards. They always rubbed and looked so uncool. This afternoon I fixed SKS chain-guard to pop into town bike. My aim is to make it looking as uncool as possible to put of potential thieves and hopefully stop textile/grease interface issues. What others do that would horrify their younger selves?
