For me, it was graduating from high school. (Then real life hit me like a tonne of bricks) but that's besides the point.

The look on my Dad's face! And then he made some joke and pulled on my growing beard and said, "Awwwww, my little boy is all grown up!" Think I might've told him to pish off and he said, "That's not very nice."

He often remarks about how old he feels!

That aside, a friend of mine got married a couple of weeks ago. I was sat there, flicking through her wedding photos on Facebook, thinking, "Bloody hell. I went to school with this woman a decade ago. And now, she's getting MARRIED." After that, I had a "And what am I doing with my life?" moment.

For me it's that today I can officially announce that I like G&T. After months of dropping hints to hubby that I would like to try this 'grown up drink' he finally succumbed and bought me a bottle of cheap supermarket gin. I know, he spoils me!
So, at the grand old age of 43.5 I can finally join the grown up brigade. Result.

Add a couple of years (& a willy) and thats me too

I got the perfect mix sorted out and then broke the glass I used & have had to work it out from scratch again.

I go to the pub to try different ales, so I always order a drink I am not sure I'll like (sometimes samples aren't enough to get the jist of a whole pint of the stuff..... Now there's a thing, you can ask for a sample before buying, therefore, you can get a rough idea!).

That said, I have never liked the Gin I have ever tried, so I will never grow up, NEVER!!
