You tube cycle touring travelogues

I've recently discovered cycle touring blogs and travelogues on YouTube and some are excellent, others not so much. Whilst the epic ones are fantastic in proving anything is possible on a bike I'm unlikely to do this but will certainly be doing vast amounts of UK travelling this year inspired by some of the down to earth presenters.

One of our favourites is Greg McChahon and his girlfriend Ana Victoria. Cycling from Alaska to Argentina. They really are fab people and it's a great watch.

I starter watching a series that was posted on this forum back in the winter. A really charming young couple who I think were starting in Alaska? (somewhere cold, anyway!) and making their way to warmer climes. Anyone remember them?!?

EDIT: I find 95% of cycling Youtube a tedious waste of electrons. (The %age of Youtube in general being nearly 100.) So Greg+Ana were a pleasant surprise!

Having watched a few of the UK gravel / touring routes that have been stuck on YouTube, I've actually decided to do a few easier ones to start with. I've done a fair few supported ones and loved it so going unsupported is the next step. The info you can get off some the clips is pretty good as well.

I rather like Josh and Sarah Ride on Youtube. My current faves are Josh and George Kohler on Instagram, a father/son duo cycling round the world.

Given my preference for locally produced content (although I salute the ambition of the likes of Josh & Sarah) I'm still stopped in my tracks when I bump into a content creator out of context. Think I'll try for a simple: 'thanks for the content' rather than the current gawping fish out of water 'do I know you?' flinch response to Rusty (of gravel fame) who seems to live in my local Tesco's when he's not riding.

Greg and Ana Victoria, mentioned above, have separated, apparently, Greg is still in South America, Ana Victoria just rode through Portugal. I think she's in Spain now.

Just discovered Miriam Kennedy. Such an engaging lady with a winning smile. Not sure its that beautiful Irish lilt of hers or the spectacular drone shots as she tours around her native Emerald Isle but there seems something spiritual about her journeys. Love her warmth and positivity especially in the context of her health challenges. Great watch.
