Dayvo, try it. In Cambodia the major roads are now all sealed. There are some crap conditions when you leave the main highways, but really there is no need. I see many, many cyclists in Cambodia nowadays. The traffic isn't bad, there are hardly any cars and the trucks/buses pass you quite easily. It is one of the best countries to tour in. Laos is the other place which is great. Give it a go, you will love it.
