Cheeky ride from Manchester to Liverpool along the trans Pennine Trail ended up at the old Speke airport with a varied collection of old airliners including a Dan Air 748 and a Bristol Brittania

Not much left at former RAF Harrington to capture in picture, there is a museum that is meant to cover the history but never been in so can't really comment.

A few bits of I can only presume concrete runway is all I found earlier today.

India, 1995, my bike can be seen lying in the luggage pile on the ground.
This was a flight on Modiluft from Goa to Delhi and for some reason (some kind of security check) everyone's luggage was dumped on the tarmac prior to boarding and had to be individually identified before being loaded onto the plane.
