Also, cyclists going two abreast along a road when there is a car waiting behind.
I was on a run one day and I saw this in front of me. The car could have had massive spikes on the front ready to impale the cyclists, but the cyclists weren't moving for anyone. Tossers.
Oh yes, and people cycling on the A82 during the day when the road is at its busiest. Always makes me cringe. This might not sound like much, but due to the local geography, the A82 IS the main road, so, although it isn't a motorway, it might as well be at certain places!

I'd put Transport Scotland in Room 101 for their lack of maintenance effort on joint user paths and their seeming inability to follow the Cycling by Design guidelines drawn up by their own organisation.

When you have just been out for a long ride and are knackered and you join a cyclepath so you can take a breather.... only to come up behind a family out for a ride. This is fine as you don't exactly want to go very fast anyway, but they all stop and wave you through, so you feel as though you have to then leave them at a reasonable pace, therefore knackering yourself even more
