This was on the longest ride I did this year, from Whakatane to Matahina Dam on the Rangitaiki River.
About 80K, including more climbing than I'd have liked. That part of NZ has roads which are flat, and others that are too-steep-by-half, and not much in between.
I arrived in NZ just as the country locked down in March, and was stuck there till August. A lot of cycling, and trips to Rotorua, Napier to see penguins, Dunedin, Queenstown and Milford Sound.
