I have lots of bands that I adore (not going to name them as it goes against the first post of this thread), but only two bands feel like I am their target audience.

The Go-Betweens

but since they are no more after Grant McLennan's demise, then my favourite currently active band is

I am Kloot

Not much footage available I'm afraid - but here a fan has dubbed their only mainsteam TV performance on the "Tube" to a better recorded soundtrack. They managed to record 4 studio albums in the early/mid 80's. They've been quoted as influencing many bands from the BritPop era. The Hammond organ player(Jamie Taylor) went on to form the more commercially famous James Taylor Quartet and played sessions for any band who needed a good keyboard player in the 80's/90's. Regardless he was still on call for any Prisoners reunion gig.

For anyone who is curious.

Edit: I've got a Peel Session by them and will be sticking it on shortly.
SLF- first band I heard live. They were supporting a band so inexorably shite I won't even name them on here.
