A few perennial favourites from the 70s. (My sons keep me updated with newer stuff. From Three Trapped Tigers to Fleet Foxes.)
Gong: Angels Egg.
Joni Mitchell: Hissing of the summer lawns.
Tony Williams: Believe it.
Steely Dan: Royal Scam.
Kokomo: Kokomo.
Paul Simon: Still crazy after all these years.
Bob Marley: Exodus.
Little Feat: Dixie Chicken.
Weather Report: Black Market.
I couldn't limit it to one and reference different parts of life.
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon & Division Bell
Supertramp - Breakfast in America
ELO - Out of the Blue
Del Amitri - Waking Hours
Buena Vista Social Club - Buena Vista Social Club
Massive Attack - Protection
Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon.
Queen - A night at the opera.
Supertramp - Crime of the century.
The Police - Regatta de blanc.
Blondie - Parallel lines.
Elton John - Goodbye yellow brick road.
The Beatles - Red/Blue albums.
Toots and the Maytals - Best of.
The Cars - Candy-O.
Paul Macca & Wings - Band on the run.
Top six would be the first six Go Betweens albums: incredible quality control - not a duff song on the lot of them.
Current favourite is Spring Hill Fair: Rob and Grant talk about the album and perform a couple of tracks in this clip. Recorded a year before Grants death, it brings a tear to my eye.
