You can sit outside by the river and there are steam engines nearby (North Yorks Moors Railway).

The North Yorks Moors have some superb tea rooms, almost certainly unsurpassed by any others.

Well that one will definately be one of the first reviews on the list, as I am riding up Rosedale Chimney and environs over the May bank holiday.
Is it pronounced Goffland?

Wilf's in Staveley (Kendal / Windermere) has lots of bike parking with good food and tea in pots.

It's also sandwiched between a bike shop (Wheelbase) and a brewery (Hawkshead) that has a beer hall with interconnecting door to Wilf's!
