What will it be like? I've been thinking about what mine will be like. I'm only 53 so I'm hoping it won't be for a while yet...^_^
Anyway, it will be a Humanist ceremony, no god bothering stuff and maudlin hymms. Hopefuly a a close friend will say something about me, and then you get three songs.
So, what would yours be?
Mine will be: I know what I like in your wardrobe (Genesis)
Up the Junction (Squeeze)
Hey Ya (Outkast)
And then I'm Smoke!

It would certainly not be maudlin and no suits either. Hopefully a few peeps will have some nice things to say about me before I enter the furnace. Have a few rock n roll numbers blasting out followed up by a big booze and nosh up for peeps. My ashes can then be tipped in the River Thames to be washed away around the Oceans of the world for ever more.

Here for rides.
RC Requiem Mass please.
Colourful ties with your suits gentlemen and no one in black
SWMBO has the music/hymns listed
The Cure's Lovesong at the crematorium as the coffin rolls
Scatter my ashes on the South Downs (SWMBO knows where)
£1000 in the whip for my mates to raise a glass and raise hell.

A good mate of mine was a real hard bastard, he could start a fight in an empty room. Sadly, he passed away two years ago. I like the headstone on his grave. It says 'Who are you looking at?'
