Before that, you'd best listen to some Mother Love Bone. Temple of the dog is a tribute album to MLB's lead singer Andrew Wood, who died in 'the usual' rock n roll way..

Sometimes, I just have to listen to Crime of Century by Supertramp. It's not the happiest of records, but the songs are superb, and the production is astonishing. It also brings back great memories of my yoof.

Another go to album for entirely different reasons is the Sound Of Surfing by The Sinceroes. ( I know, no one has ever heard of them).

Thanks, I normally use a tablet but due to my wife watching a crap film I am in my basement using a desktop with a 5.1 Cambridge Audio sound system, it sounds just awesome.

Nay probs. There was some excellent stuff coming out of Seattle around that time.. it's a shame it got labelled as grunge, and the media picking Nirvana as the genre's poster boys

Yes it is mate also imvho. I never used to think that when I was younger, it was always Highway To Hell or Back In Black. But Powerage is better, If You Want You've Got It is very good too, probably my favourite live album from any artist.
