Motorcyclist came off bike

Police and paramedics were called to Swan Close Road, Banbury, after a motorcyclist came off his bike. At 11:56am on Monday the crews were called to the accident outside the Morrison's store. On their arrival they found the man was concious.

That's it, exciting times indeed!

We've got CCers all over the globe, have you got an equally or possibly more thrilling item of news in your local rag?

Top news from the Exmouth Journal (website) at the moment: casting for the musical 'Oklahoma' and that No. 22 duck wins in the annual charity duck race held by the Budliegh Salterton Lions club, raising over £1000 for charity. Fun times.

Our local police has an occasional newsletter that reports on local crime. The headline news last time was a car broken into, and a bus shelter vandalised.

I bought the Glossop Chronicle today for the story on the front page but it's possibly too exciting to qualify for this thread.

Next weds the Bypass supporters are organising a mass pressing of the buttons on all the pedestrian crossings in the area between nine and half past in the morning to cause as much congestion as they can. I'll already be at work by then though

We had "Hamster found by roadside" a few years back... I didn't save a copy though, and strangely it doesn't seem to be an archived story online... I'd've thought....

Items recently seen in our weekly rag include, and similar to Ben's, a report of a stolen childs buggy left unattended in the stairwell of a block of flats in a less reputable part of town and youngsters being anti social by having a kick-a-bout in a local park after dusk. No drink, no drugs, no fighting mentioned. Kids today, just don't know how to enjoy themselves anymore.
