Supposed to have a rest day but didn't. Two more iconic climbs ticked off:
Beeston Brow => Long Lane - Bollington. Short and brutish
The Brickworks Climb - long, way too long!
Enjoyed the descents much less. Gritty roads with run-off from snow drifts coupled with rubbish brakes.
Frightening.
14.5 miles, 2000ft ascent.

......he shouted at me...'bit parky mate eh' as he sped past in his shorts and T shirt......hmmm....I'm telling myself this happened because I have such a lean physique that, unlike this guy, there are no extra energy reserves stored on my fat free body....that'll be it right??
...yeah..thought so...

, then turned north to Dyserth, Prestatyn and home along the coastal cycle path. At least the wind was behind me on the last leg and the sun came out, quite pleasant on Rhyl seafront!
.
...I love Subway...found a Londis that sold warm coffee and a sandwich
