I have a few patents, but they are all boring computer related. I love the garden shed engineering from Riever, the country was built on stuff like that.

Well, maybe a garden wall.

This will make me billions.

Are you forever having a few baked beans left over in a tin? Yes you can buy a big jar but it only lasts a week.

It's so simple.

Individually wrapped baked beans. Each one in a tiny plastic bag with a little bit of sauce.

Gone are they days of opening a tin and chucking some away. Open as many as you want.

"Hey mum, can I have some baked beans?"
"Sure, how many?"
"84"

Like I say, billions.
I have a similar idea involving bees. Not for the honey though, for the pelts.
Breed lots of them and use the pelts to keep your peas warm for serving at the table. Money to be made.
Another industry niche one....

When you are giving someone a blood transfusion there are lots of checks to go through, some involve checking the donor blood group against the recipients. My idea is to cross match someones blood on admission, then give them the wrist band of a specific colour. The donor blood bag labels are the same colour, so orange for A, blue for B etc. A final bedside check would be to check the donation blood bag and the wrist band colours matched. Way safer than checking lots of tiny writing on poorly printed forms.
And I thought this thread was for (forgive me) stupid ideas and then someone spoils it by coming up with a fantastic lifesaving idea that would cost literally pennies per patient......

We have +1 channels on the TV for watching programmes later.

For news stations have a -1 option so you get to fine out what happened an hour earlier.

I always reckoned the +1 channels were incorrectly named, to me it implies you can watch something an hour before it is on the 'normal' channel so should be called -1 if you are watching what was on hour ago on the 'normal' channel....is it just me or am I right?

In the olden days they wore bells around their necks.
