Youtube is closing?

Apparently they now have enough videos to select a winner? The site is said to be closing down tonight and then reopen in 2023 showing just one video-the winner.

I dont know if this is true or if it just an April Fool's Day windup but I am sure a lot of people will be disappointed and outraged that YT is closing down.
