Just looking through Strava for when i did this course last - time was 1hr 37mins. Be nice to get below 1hr 30mins this week and not push too hard ... which I think is feasible. Trick I think is get into a good group to the first climb, tempo up that, join another group on the descent to the Jungle, then try to tempo up the Alpe at (for me) about 230 watt average (which is below my PB watts of 261). That's the plan anywayFinishing is the main goal. Time is purely secondary
This is what the NEO2 sounds like ..... it's not happy! Sent file off to Tacx so looking forward to their response.
No, that's just my rubbish gear changing (now you know why I prefer to ride single speedFirst impression when i watch your video was that rear derailleur take a contact to cassette because it looks that noise change when you change a gear. But that was just a impression i had.
Definitely more dangerous when I'm on the roads anyway! Anyone for stage 7 today?
Loads of lag at the start, spat out the back. Going to be a grim one! Fingers crossed for lightweight wheels
Edit: knee pain that just wouldn't go away no matter what I did. Stopped at the foot as I was just going to do some damage to myself if I tried to climb for a couple of hours at that pace, and completely wreck the scoreboard as a side-effect. Bugger.
Sounds like a smart move. You often get knee pain?
Just out of interest where does the stage start from Michael?
I’ve been up the alpe untold times and all I ever get at the top is new mitts. Bloody rigged!![]()

How did your time on the climb compare against your times on Bkool?Had a half decent ride today in Zwift but still too embarresing to download.
Did Stage 7 of Watopia.
It's worse than the Alp d'H!
I attacked where I thought the top was going to be ready for the descent. Little did I know there was not one.
I averaged 5.1 W/kg for the climb which is why I didn't download it.
The trainer seems to be 'bedding in' to Zwift and moving the reality slider to 75% had improved the feel and effort do I may move it to 90.

As for the 'top' ... if you keep riding, you go around the top of the mountain and come back down at breakneck speed, taking corners at 80 kphBetter make sure you have good tyres on your virtual bike

I meant your Alps dhuez time on bsim, as the Alps in zwift is supposed to be an exact replicas of the real thing. Many say it relates well, but having never climbed the real thing I don't know. Just wondering how zwift Alps time compared to your bsim alp time.I have never climbed watopia in BSim.
Canot remember my time but I had a good race, if you can call it that.
I poked my nose out front too early and was passed by 7 guys so I just dropped back into a rythmn and pegged a few back.
Now I am working out what all the visual keys are I am getting into it.
I would prefer that your stats and angle of climp were at the bottom to save me looking through the wrong part of my varifocals
I did go over the top and ride down as well.
