Has anyone in here had a problem with the fence on Zwift. Today was a second time when it didn't give me that 59sec to return to group, it was about 20-25sec. I was alone for a moment and suddenly yellow beacon appears far on a horizon. I was almost ready to log off from Zwift before i saw that, lucky me i did catch them but didn't need to sprint anymore after that

No, but sometimes the timer starts and I am not yet through the fence. It tends to happen when the ride leader is outside the UK so may be server/time lag related.
I do like to get zapped though...I must grow up:rolleyes::smile:

Super short, flat TT this week - no excuses for not squeezing this one into your busy schedules!

Route is "Greater London Flat" - see here for details - https://zwiftinsider.com/london/

It looks like it will be this Strava segment, with timing starting at the sprint banner - https://www.strava.com/segments/15389301

If in doubt, just go full gas from start to finish - won't make any difference re: positioning etc because its a TT so no drafting

It will be interesting to see how using a TT bike disrupts -if at all-this leader board. Don't forget your HRM's boys

Based on the HR data, only me and Andy were actually trying :cuppa:

@IrishAl wasn't even breaking sweat ...

I don’t know about the times. But I reckon a fair few of us will fancy beating our power pb’s for that segment.

In the old bkool days @Daddy Pig and @CXRAndy would have been licking their chops!
Ha! Oh yeah I remember Daddy Pig - BIG Bkool POWER!! 💪

You're right though, time and power not necessarily directly linked due to that pesky drafting. My best average watts on that route is 339w (on the Bkool :okay:) but it's only my 16th fastest time - over a minute slower!!

All my best times on that Strava course is via Hare and Hounds races, where the group I'm in is actively trying to stay together and so I'm getting a massive draft benefit for the whole route.

Didn't think I'd have time for the race tonight but given how short it is might try and squeeze it in. Also on call so may abruptly leave

On my last group ride I was near the front and it was saying return to the front I dropped back to the leader it was still saying return to front but it was also saying that my position in the Group was 5th even though I wasn't, I dropped back even further almost getting dropped then it was still counting down with seconds to spare it stopped counting down.

I think it's down to connection issues as at first it wouldn't show any one riding in the 2 worlds, but I did find it quite frustrating especially when I got dropped and I had to hit 7 w/kg to get back on :becool: quite pleased with my self about that.

Yeah not sure what we do with that IMG_20191119_191750047.jpg

I took a photo just before the banner but hard to know how much off the start we missed. Altho it was from a standing start. Doubt it can be calculated for anyone?

Edit: glad I took a photo anyway I think that's my new max HR!
