Signed up for the PRL full at 14.00hrs today as weather a bit blowy here for my liking outside.

Anyone else fancy 😳.

I signed up. Seemed ideal coasting in a huge group. Had my 1st covid jab a few days back though and a bit of a reaction. Reckon I will start and will look out for you😁 I am in group A.

I don’t know. I know what you’re saying. But it feels like a gamble letting a group go as a general tactic no?

Also I wonder how many of those guys who came back to us got dropped again because of the effort in getting back. Again I don’t know the answer. But it’s all in hindsight isn’t it!

My ride won’t load to Strava. Kind of annoying. It’s on companion. I’d like to see my own power number up the climbs. I kept dying at the same spot. Maybe 15 meters or so from the top. At my top form I could sustain the same number all the way up so it’d be quite handy to compare.
Yes, it’s not a tactic I’ve ever used in a race to deliberately hold back. Not really my racing style. I’d prefer to give it everything and reflect on it being wasted than hold back and miss an opportunity.

To get your ride into Strava, load the Zwift website on a laptop and find the activity on your profile. Then download the .fit file ( https://support.zwift.com/en_us/your-history-and-fit-files-SJbHywdNH ) and upload that to Strava ( https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us...-Activities-to-Strava?mobile_site=true#byfile )

Only caveat being that Strava accepts .fit files? I’d have thought it would but have only ever taken .fit files from Zwift and put them into a different platform so can’t say for sure.

I think that’s the option mate. But I’m not sure whether you get the segments if you do it that way.

Try it and see, I suppose?

I think it will though - I suspect Zwift just post that same file to Strava at the end of a ride anyway to automate it. Something failed here though so maybe Strava won’t accept the file when you try anyway?

Unstoppable at the moment, isn’t he!

His rivalry with Van Aert is driving them both, literally leaving other riders in their dust.

I really like VDP, I think Van Aert is a better all-rounder.

Today is a mountain stage TirrenoAdriatico, we shall see who has W/kg to stay with the climbers
