Does Strava count virtual rides for their challenges? I joined 3, just realized that it hasn't acknowledged my 100k ride. I thought Strava now counted virtual rides towards totals

Lee has done a Dean- well nearly. Another cracking ride:okay:
Light weight  needs an extra 36 miles and another 7k feet of climbing then I'll be impressed , how did you find it @berty bassett more of mental a challenge not easy doing a 100 miler on a trainer.
Planning on a couple more this month want to push 150 before the years end, just miles not bothered about elevation.

I swapped bikes over to the wilier - I know that one is good for all dayers
But I was glad to get to the 100 - I think it is the non stop pedalling that got to me instead of just coasting down hills
The elevation didn’t seem to matter as there was nothing steep and I wasn’t killing myself just trying to keep heartrate low - think it would have been different if I was going up and down the mountain all the day ! Just a bit disappointed that done a 100 mile and only got a bloody t shirt ! - thought I might get something sparkly and new

Dean, you and Lee are putting in some monster efforts. It’s the mental element that must be most challenging though especially when your arse/legs and arms say, Enough!

Some achievement riding a 100+ miles on a turbo. My record is around 3-3.5 hours. I take my hat off to you for riding 4,5 and 6+ hours. I think I'll stick with higher pace 60 miles. I do see the benefit of 5+ hours for endurance building. I found for the one off big sportive, as long as you could ride 4-5 hours then the likes of DD were doable.

Decided to do a few races now to work my VO2 before another TrainerRoad block. I did the TIGR race at 3.40. I came 4th of 21 legal finishers. Probably could have done better but also went for an FTP upgrade by pushing for the first 20 minutes. Ended up with an increase of 3 watts on my FTP to 251 but was then banjaxed for the rest of the race. Also probably could have done better on FTP if I'd just focused on that. Oh well - all good fun.
