I could have died there !!
But I don’t like to mention it
Problem I see is the lengths of the arms on the turbo would needs to be shortened to allow the tyre to reach the turbo wheel. Here's one for you guys. I have this topic on the forum where I've asked if anyone knows a smart trainer that would be compatible with smaller (kids size) wheels.
I've spent the last two days searching the Internet for one but failed. Possibly found one but it's not sold in the UK.
Just how hard would it be to modify a standard 'wheel on' smart trainer to fit a kids bike? Any experiences in that area?
What about the Elite Novo Force which says it's compatible with 24" - https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Elite/Novo-Force-Turbo-Trainer/NNR7Here's one for you guys. Ah, I was looking at the Elite Novo Smart which did only 26'' but this one seems to be more flexible, as you say. If needs be also looks much easier to modify and is cheaper so I wouldn't feel as bad if I mess it up.What about the Elite Novo Force which says it's compatible with 24" - https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Elite/Novo-Force-Turbo-Trainer/NNR7
Not a smart trainer but you could get a garmin speed/cadence sensor for his bike and connect to Zwift that way?
I don't really think there's anything to modify or mess up really as it says the adaptors needed for 24" wheels are includedAh, I was looking at the Elite Novo Smart which did only 26'' but this one seems to be more flexible, as you say. Don't suppose anyone has one of these lying around? Or the sensors?

What about the good old Bkool classic smart trainer? If I’m right the trainer arms werent fixed so would that allow any sized wheel? Here's one for you guys. I have this topic on the forum where I've asked if anyone knows a smart trainer that would be compatible with smaller (kids size) wheels.

Hmm... Yes, but I'm always suspiciousI don't really think there's anything to modify or mess up really as it says the adaptors needed for 24" wheels are included
Way to fancy for a kid. Don't want to spoil him too muchYou could always buy my Tacx Flux S and use that... I could deliver on Sunday...
(Saying that I'm not sure on compatibility or what cassette would be on a bike with 24" wheels so probably a stupid idea)
