I've only had cadence for last two rides but average has been remarkably static; 69 & 70. Hasn't really been something i've kept an eye on too much but definitely feels natural and comfortable
I've started at relatively low cadence but then decided to try and increase it and see how it feels. As a complete beginner I'm giving a lot of things a try.

To my surprise, the higher I go, the better it feels. I did the race yesterday with an average of 89 and really enjoyed it. 70 now feels unnaturally slow. But yeah, it's a personal preference, definitely. I'm just looking to continue to go higher and see where that 'natural' threshold lies for me.

Oh yeah definitely worth trying. 70 is definitely on the low side and probably will increase now that I have more gears on my bike 😂

My average cadence on Zwift is far higher than when cycling outdoors. I knew I was always a grinder rather than a spinner, but when I first got a cadence meter I was a little surprised that my average was in the mid 60's - possibly down to the fact that my first road bike was so undergeared that I didn't have many options for spinning regardless. Over time (and changes of road bike and cassettes) I settled into an average around the low 70's, but when I started on Zwift on my Wattbike, I naturally just found that 80-85 was what felt right on that, maybe even a little higher once I started racing.

Interestingly that has led me to an increase in my cadence on my road bike as well (not intentionally - it just happened slowly over the course of a year or so) and now I find I'm typically about mid to high 70's outdoors. Still less than on Zwift, but only by about 10rpm or so.

Me? Well, I'll be working hard at the front of the pack just like I do in every other race
