A little thing I just learned about Zwift Clubs. Now my local cycling club has set one up I'm in two Zwift clubs. As was pointed out the other day, when you start a Zwift ride you get to choose which club you're riding for.

This also affects which club your ride will appear in the "club activities" section of. Your current activity will only be visible in the club activities section of the selected club. That's both good and bad in that it gives us a choice, but there's scope for errors. ^_^

Was being passed like I was standing still on fox hill, doing 300w. Lost about 30 places
I was 200th at the base of Fox hill.

I finished the event 514th.

314 lost places due to the climbs

Got out in the big wide world again today. A bit blowy, especially with the deep section wheels on ^_^.

That has got me to my first ever 1,000 miles Calendar month which is a nice milestone.
How deep is deep?

Very blowy here today. Even without deep wheels I could imagine being blown about with the gusts we’ve had.

In other news I had a proud dad moment today. Got my son riding with pedals in 5 minutes after 2 years on a balance bike. Twice down a gentle slope just resting feet on the pedals then third time down just did it like it’s no big deal at all!

We went out this morning and again this afternoon- amazing how quick they learn. He was much more confident in the second session and going further.

Hoping to get out again tomorrow and you never know, we might be doing some nice rides on closed railway lines etc in the summer 🙂

Fab news, Nick! You’ll have to get him Zwifting soon 😉.

Round here, the lanes are quiet enough that I can dismount and run along to the right hand side of Daniel, pushing him when we get to a hill where he needs a bit of a shove. He’s got an Islabike Cnoc 16 which is great but, for little legs, the gear is a bit big for anything over, say, 5%!

There’s a good disused railway line just up the road in Alton (Alton Towers) but a fair few hills between here and there…

"Quit" after about 21 minutes, dropped back around 600 places over the next 25 minutes riding around 1.5-2.5wkg. Found my mojo again and hit the hills at around 830. Kept it steady at around 3wkg up Box Hill and supertucked almost all the way down. Repeated that again on Fox. Finished around 600 in game, meaning I clawed back around 200 places going over 2 hills (WTF!). Quite pleased as I was ready to exit the game after 35 minutes...

We are in the middle of a storm right now, and the light in the shed went out for a split second with 2.5kms to go. Luckily the router/computer didn't crash! :okay:
