Ok there’s a few hours left for a late attempt at stage 6 but here is the standings for now. Some good tussles for position all over the GC and points tables. @berty bassett I’m sure will be nervous there in first place 😂
Again if I’ve inadvertently missed anyone just let me know 👍

Thanks for doing this @IrishAl
Good that I get some points for turning up and coming last  This is all quite new to me, but it's fascinating to do all these different courses to find out what I can and can't do (which I hope will show me what to focus on to get better).

Did another blog btw. Have a look if you are bored.
Not bored, very enjoyable read. But those pedals... Mate... You're a monster! ;)

Looks like a better week.:okay: The only thing I don't like about SPD cleats is that they're made of solid metal so your feet can get a bit colder in winter. I have them on my gravel bike.

Got some Northwave boots coupled with Sealskinz waterproof socks and after 5 years of hunting I've finally found the solution to keep my toes warm. My feet are so bad I wear toe warmers in the height of summer!

Nice Blog @Joffey - looks like progress :okay:

Ref the pedals, I used to use SPDs on all my bikes - the shoes were so much more practical. I had to change when I got my power pedals.

Cheers!

I just seem to get on with cheaper MTB shoes better than expensive road shoes. Had issues with my feet for a few years but the cheaper Giro MTB shoes seem to be my saviour!

I've reached an age where I've stopped believing every cycling story about aero gains - comfort it king!
