Now that you talk how you did stage-7 we can turn our thoughts nicely to stage-8, right ^_^?. What is your plan, how you gonna ride without throwing up and losing any power during a ride?. I will using same strategy as i done so far, flat easier and climbs harder and try to repeat that a whole stage, without losing power. That is my plan....as a theory.

My plan was to go as fast (for me) up the hills and recover on the downhills, by not really trying to stay with anyone. I just used my extra weight to keep up-which worked. I had jotted every climb, mile marker, gradient and approximately how long I needed to hold my climbing power to complete each segment.

Not that I'm obsessed
Blimey that is organised! I'll be honest I didn't know what course it was or what it was like at all before I rode it other than a vague recollection that people had said their times were around 40-45 minutes!

11 climbs of note. It helps me mentally to divide the course.

3rd time up the alpe this week today after a tough session yesterday and i was struggling fom the start , leg just felt like they had nothing in them from the start and i was only just level pegging with the previous effort and felt like i was at my max even though the reading on power and hrm said i wasnt .
Rest of the day felt sluggish so i didnt do a second session and might take tomorrow off too depending on how i feel

It definitely sounds like you could do with a rest day

Won’t be home till Monday dinner and would have been travelling 24 hrs so don’t think I will be having a pop at anything soon
Don’t know when it all finishes so might miss them all - but scared you all didn’t I 😙
Final stage 8 is today until Sunday, but the catch up rides are all next week - Monday 7th until Sunday 13th.

But I wouldn't bother mate, put your feet up for a week whenyou get back :okay:
