Keen for tour de splitters. Hoping foot heals up soon enough to take part.

Can I at least still take part in the complaining about the meticulously chosen courses?

Seems fair 👍

On a totally unrelated note… Paul has suggested I be in charge of the complaints / points deduction department.

I’ll obviously endeavour to be my usual sympathetic self!

Personally I like the hare and hounds format. So long as the organisers can get the time splits right of course :gun:

Proposed stages of Tour De Splitters #2.

Tried to get a mix of terrains to suit everyone. Last time, finishing on an ITT worked well as various people had small time gaps to try and make up on others, and it's the "race of truth"! Also, being on TT bikes, people can do it alone if they can't make the final stage for some reason.

As mentioned above, any complaints will be dealt with by my "enforcer" @<Tommy> who's prepared to be slightly less diplomatic than me when the cat-herding becomes difficult!

19:45 on Tuesday nights, starting the week after the last stage of ZRL?

Looks good. Presume the two shortest stages (1 & 3) would have multiple laps to bring them up to the sort of length of the longer ones, especially as they're flat and so would still be done with quicker than the other stages even if they were the same distance?

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot to include number of laps:

Satge 1: 3 laps/18 miles
Stage 2: 1 lap/17.2 miles
Stage 3: 3 laps/24 miles
Stage 4: 1 lap/24.7 miles
Stage 5: 1 lap 19.9 miles
Stage 6: 1 lap/15 miles

Really good selection there mate 👍

Can’t see many complaints coming from these choices!

I can set the meet ups as we go along. Maybe @IrishAl set the league table?
