Carpet fitters were telling me this morning that I need to invest in a vacuum with a beater bar... and that you can never hoover too much!

How did you guys find it? Forced cat is certainly fairer, but for this type of race it's pretty much certain to come down to a reduced bunch sprint If there are no sandbaggers

Going B cat is always a hard ride for me. I was slightly back of the pack on lap 3 when a sudden jump in pace caught me out, then struggling to get back on-eventually dropped with a bunch of 6 or 7 riders.

Carl got on the front bunch a faired much better.

I came 2nd in my own little pack. My aim is to hang into the final lap and place top 10 in the B cats.

I need more strength work and Z2 to build a stronger base

Came 8th in the 20 rider (ish) bunch sprint. Everyone seemed to have an aero whilst I had nothing. I left my sprint too late as was watching everyone else, so their PU gave them the advantage. Bit frustrating as I should have done better.

Chap who came 3rd, Kiely, is a C ... we used to race against him in C. He's really not a C rider.

A good race though. Would have been nice to have a few more laps to thin the group out a bit more

Kelly is a young heavy rider, so his numbers could be under reported because he doesn't have to work so hard on the flat course

Had a massive clear out of the shed today and discovered my ancient Shelford Rollerturbo, which I used to use (to the consternation and chagrin of my housemates) for my indoor training 20 years ago!
