I think we've raced against you guys twice in the ladder so far and it's 1 all. 😁
Looks like we've got you again next week, although I don't think I'll be riding.

Yes we’ve been allocated to race each other on the mandatory Tuesday ride next week.

I’ve missed both of our previous races through holidays. Forms been a bit off lately, so I stood down last week, but had a really good TTT today. I may be back next Tuesday, but if the weather is good I may go outdoors instead.

That's what we're up against in summer. I need to prioritise outdoor too. I've done four ladder races so far, but we have a squad of 15 so some of the others need to do some. I'm also feeling the need to do a bit more volume and a bit less intensity, which outdoor is perfect for.
Zwift it mostly a smashfest (for me).

Absolutely agree.

However well Zwift feels like it’s going, I really need the longer 2-3 hour rides. Or the longer 60-70 mile rides at the weekends.

There’s no doubt Zwift has made me stronger and that is helping me get more enjoyment from outdoor rides.

We’ve got 8 in our squad, but 2 have been missing through work pretty much from the first week, so I’m getting called on more than I’d planned for. I don’t like to let the guys down, so it gets a bit tough at times.

I think I might have a go at the Zwift challenge for July. Climb the famous tour de France routes .

Is it two climbs per week for the month to get the badge/ trophy/shirt ?

I think it's just two climbs in the month!
I saw some comments about that on the forums, and what Legs said appeared to be the conclusion. I've already mentally prepared myself for a go at the Alpe on Tuesday, so won't be changing my plans. But thereafter - why not? Probably in zone 2 though.

Are you doing one of the Zwift HC Series events, Peter? No draft or powerups - power FTW!

Yes, that's the plan. Ultimate goal is to beat or at least more or less equal my PB (51:43). On the one hand, I was 0.5kg lighter then, and it was achieved with powerups and other people around. On the other - I faded 3/4 of the way up, and I don't plan on bonking this time around

It'll most likely be the earlier evening slot on Tuesday. 18:30, I believe?

Oh, FFS. My frame arrived today, the one that I waited 3 months for... BB shell is slightly off tolerance, so it's going back to the manufacturer. They will give an ETA for a replacement next week

Momentarily second on the Strava segment!
Cote de Pike is a very pitchy climb, difficult to get a good rhythm. Perfect for Pidders tomorrow!
