I've come round to this having been against it initially. And yes it is annoying to see people cheat to get upgrades.

I've found it makes me ride more. I did 1100 metres of climbing with a blindfold on in a darkened room when I wouldn't have done anything. I don't care about the route badges but I know other people are motivated by them, whatever works works. I think with the climb portal it's one of the best things they've done lately

Why the blindfold? Was that as a result of your injury or something else?

Thanks Steen yeah. It's actually a side effect of one of the drops, dilated pupil completely so light and screens a bit of a mare. Only have to take that one till Monday thankfully!
